Ginger Berry Anti-Inflammatory Smoothie

What You'll Need

  • one plus cup non-dairy unsweetened milk
  • one cup frozen berry blend
  • three quarters cup frozen pineapple
  • one quarter cup frozen red beets
  • one teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • one half teaspoon freshly grated turmeric
  • one quarter small/medium avocado
  • one tablespoon chia seeds
  • two teaspoons raw honey (raw agave or pure maple syrup)

How to Make It

  1. Place one cup of milk in your blender.
  2. Add all other ingredients. (If your berries are stuck together or there are large strawberries in your mix, try chopping them for easier blending.)
  3. Blend until smooth, adding more milk if needed.
  4. Taste and blend in more fruit/beets/avocado to your liking.
  5. Serve immediately, or store in a sealed bottle in the fridge for 24hrs (for the best flavor).
