St. Louis Style Pizza

What You'll Need

    For the Dough

    :
  • one and one quarter cups flour
  • one half tsp salt
  • one half tsp baking powder
  • two tsp olive oil
  • one tsp light corn syrup
  • one half cup water
  • Cheese:

  • one half cup white cheddar cheese, shredded
  • one quarter cup swiss cheese, shredded
  • one quarter cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • one half tsp liquid smoke
  • one third cup pizza sauce (more or less to taste)
  • one half tsp Italian seasoning

How to Make It

  1. Place pizza stone in oven and preheat to 450 degrees.
  2. For the crust: Mix ingredients until thoroughly combined.
  3. Shape it into a ball and roll it out paper thin on a piece of parchment paper.
  4. Top crust with pizza sauce.
  5. Toss the shredded cheese with liquid smoke.
  6. Sprinkle on pizza.
  7. Top with favorite toppings.
  8. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  9. Transfer pizza on the parchment paper to pizza stone. (I use a cookie sheet to move it).
  10. Bake 12-15 minutes, until cheese is golden and crust is brown.
  11. Allow to cool three to five minutes and slice into squares and serve.
